About the event
The word Navaratri means "nine nights" in Sanskrit, nava meaning "nine" and ratri meaning "nights". In the eastern and northeastern states of India, the Durga Puja[5] is synonymous with Navaratri, wherein goddess Durga battles and emerges victorious over the buffalo demon Mahishasura to help restore dharma. Celebrations include worshipping nine goddesses during nine days. The final day is called Vijayadashami, marking the destruction of evil. All are invited to participate and receive the Grace and Blessings of Mother Adhiparasakthi.
All donations towards this pooja will go to temple construction. If you wish to donate please goto https://acmec.sakthitemple.org/ and donate by choosing pre-filled amount or by filing-in any amount you wish to donate. Every penny will help building a permanant abode for our Supreme Mother.
Prasadam wiil be served everyday.
